Newbie from Missouri

Postby FatBottomedGirl » Wed May 13, 2009 8:18 am

Hello, all. I'm a newbie here, posting from Missouri, USA. I lost a good amount of weight several years ago (50 pounds--about 23 kgs) but my body seemed to stop wanting to lose anymore weight. I'm now stuck at 170 lbs/78 kgs and it's ALL in my butt and lower stomach. I look like something from a Dr. Suess illustration.

I do exercise but only a couple of times a week, so I need to head to gym more often. I've already tried Atkins, South Beach and the Abs Diet, with no success. I'm thinking of giving the Gabriel Method a try.

Good to be here,

The American College of Sports Medicine just brought out their exercise guidelines and they say that you need to exercise at least 5 times a week to lose and then maintain a healthy weight. So, try to get in some exercise every single day, even if it is just a 30 minute walk.

Best of luck with the Gabriel Method!

Crap. 5 times a week? For real? Well, hell. That's going to take a wee bit of juggling...
