I'm new to this telling people how much I weigh thing, so hopefully this should help me keep motivated to loose the extra weight.
As I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) I feel that it is my job as a teacher and role model for the students that I will be teaching to ensure that I am a positive role model for them.
I'll Introduce myself:
I'm 17 years old (18 in sept) and at the start of my weightloss journey I weighed 95 kilograms.
I am 167cm tall and have a BMI of 34 so am obese for my height, I am only meant to be around 55 - 70 kilograms.
Alot of my family is overweight or obese and whilst I do not blame them for my weight issues, it does make it increasingly difficult to lead a healthy life.
I am quite sceptical of diets and the like so rather than 'diet' as such I have chosen to lower my calorie intake and increase my excercise.
I have set myself 5 kilogram weightloss goals until I reach my end goal of 60 kilograms....so doing the maths that is a 35 kilogram weightloss in total.
So far I have lost 8 kilograms so have reached and exceeded my 1st weightloss goal.
If anybody has any suggestions or comments please feel free to leave them...
