Hi from South Oz

Postby sillybgoat » Thu Jun 25, 2009 3:35 pm

Hi all. Long time overweight guy, tried lots of diets. Decided this time I will change mentally.

28YO Male
189CM
Highest weight was 141KG
CW 132.2KG (on my home scales, 131 on the doctors)

Lost weight before on Optifast bars, but it has always been for a time limit (IE. wedding) and have put it back on after. This time I am dieting till I am at a decent weight, for my long term health, and more importantly enjoyment.

Wish me luck :)

My own  , sensible food (count calories) and daily exercise and a positive attitude (most of the time  ) helps.

Hi Sillybgoat and welcome to the forum! A nice sensible lifestyle change is a great way to go! It certainly worked for me  Oh and don't be scared to experiment with foods - sometimes even the food we hate can be good if you cook it in a way you like. My hubby HATED vegies with a passion until I cooked them. One of his first meals I made was followed by the phrase "OMG, I can't believe you made spinach taste good!" LOL
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
