BRIDE TO BE - help please?

Postby Samantha Jean » Wed Sep 30, 2009 12:03 pm

Hi, my name is Sam.

I am 27, am getting married in September 2010 and want to get back to my original size before then.

I have 3 children with my husband to be and have gained about 5kg with each child. I was originally around 60kg and my biggest was 75kg after the birth of my daughter Jasmine 7 months ago. I am now around 70kg and have about 10kg to lose.

I have found most success through counting kilojoules. I hate exercise but have been doing around half an hour a day on the rowing machine. Recently I have been losing a couple then gaining it back, or doing everything right and not losing anything.

I am interested to see what everyone else is doing to lose weight so well & to take away some ideas and motivation from them. I also hope to make some new friends with similar attitudes and goals in mind.

Looking forward to meeting you all, Sam.

Hi Sam,

Best of luck with your weight loss! I'm around the same weight as you and have a similar goal. I'm finding it quite hard to drop any significant weight, probably because in the scheme of things i'm not heavy enough to drop huge numbers. Good luck and stay healthy!
Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Thanks Sam :D

Plan is eating healthy, particularly getting in my 2&5. I'm pretty good, if you ignore the ice cream here and there! I exercise 3-5 times a week too. I have a good work environment which helps heaps, because i work in a centre for physical activity, nutrition and obesity prevention.

That sounds good. What do you do at your work? So your goal is 55kg? How tall are you? I'm 176cm, if I were 55kg I would be way too skinny... lol. For me 60kg is about a size 8 maybe 10. 55kg would be like a 6 or less for me.
