At the moment I weigh 89kgs (which is a good 40kgs overweight for my height - I'm 4 foot 11).
I got married in March when I weighed almost 15kgs lighter. Since then my weight has ballooned. I have become very lazy and indulging to often on late night feasts.
I really need to make a change and not just for my own health. I am hoping to fall pregnant next year, and there is no way I could do it at this weight. Not only that but I will be a bridesmaid for my sister in March 2010 and the dress is a Size 14 (I'm between a 16 and 18 at the moment).
Basically I am making this public to try and keep myself motivated and accountable. So fingers crossed I stick to this new healthy lifestyle for more than 1 week.
Welcome to the forum! You and I have similar statistics at the moment, so it will be fun to keep an eye on your progress. I'm 26 and currently 87.4kgs, so hopefully we can motivate each other to our goal weights How are you going so far?
So far really good thanks. I lost 2.7kgs last week (i started one of those weigh in threads). I have made myself a 5 week exercise challenge as well. This is day 11 for me - at present I have stuck to both my exercise and eating goals. How about you?
