Reintroduction!

Postby desert_me » Sat Dec 26, 2009 12:27 am

Hello everyone

I was an occasional poster on this board a couple of years ago. Back then I was only battling an extra 20kgs.
Now I am at a much more desperate place, I hit 100kgs recently. My knees are sore and I can only walk with bandages on. Everyone around me is worried sick as my health, social life, and job prospects are grim whilst I am so unhealthy.
Here's hoping I will manage to get it all off me for good this time!

Thanks lng86.
Although I haven't lost any weight this week I am now much stronger. The knee bandages have gone! And I can walk an hour in one go.

Hello from another SA Great chick!

Hun - you can do this! Just take it one day at a time - so cliche but it's true :P Set yourself small acheiveable goals and you'll surprise yourself with how good you feel and how soon you'll get to where you want to be.

What plans are you putting into action?

All the best!
Ali

My plans are to eat about 1500 calories a day, walking machine 1 hour a day, with some weights, fit ball and swimming thrown in.
I want to be a Surf Life Saver one day!
