I signed up a while ago when I was trying a number of things to lose the excess weight I put on during my 20s. However, as is common I lost my motivation over a couple of months and went back to my old ways.
Now with the dawning of 2010, I've decided that my ways need to change and I need to get myself back in shape. I'm not too far off a healthy weight, about 8kg, but my goal is to lose 10kg this year.
I'm a computer administrator, so my job isn't particularly physical, but I have been a keen runner recently. Usually I need a goal to strive towards to keep my running up, last year I trained hard for just over five months and completed a half marathon, then promptly stopped running for the rest of the year.
So hopefully I'll be able to contribute to this community as we aim to meet or exceed our goals for 2010.
