hey peoples :) i'm a newbie!

hey everyone.
just joined WLF today and it's really already motivated me to get out there and get active! :)
i've been sitting in my lounge for around 2-3 hours now ( i know that is not a good start to being active haha:), reading everyones weight loss stories and geez they are really inspiring.
hopefully one day soon, i can inspire a new member with my own stories like alot of you have done for me!

anyways, just a few stats before i head off for the day
Age; 16
Weight; 80kg
Height; 163cm
BMI;30.1 .. :(

Hey there

My advice to you is this : Get the weight off now, or you will end up like me. I was 16 and 80 kilos.
Now i am 26 and have been as fat as 125 kilos, i'm 116 kilos at the moment. My weight has caused me nothing but misery.

It doesn't get any better over time. I would kill to go back 10 years and lose all my weight before i hit 18.

80 kilos really isn't THAT big, trust me. I thought 80kilos was huge at the time, it's not. You can lose this weight and lead a healthy and happy life. Don't give up!!

SW: 121.3kg - 20/04/2010
First Goal: 109 kilos (Losing 10% of my body weight)
Second Goal: 99 kilos (Getting out of triple digits)
Third goal: 85 kilos (Getting back to a weight where i felt more like ME)
Ultimate long term goal: 60 kilos (Losing half of my start weight)

Welcome :)

I definitely have to agree with the previous poster, 80kgs isn't a great lot. I wish I could go back to when I was 80kgs and slap myself into reality and lose the excess weight. You're great that you can see you need to lose some and now you just need to make the steps to do it. I wish you loads of luck & success.

Hope it all works out! But remember nutrition also plays a huge part in losing weight. You can excercise all you want and if you eat crap you will not lose weight.

Cut down on the fats and carbs and it will start to come off.

Maybe do group training.

i know i'm not huge, but i do feel very overweight and unhealthy.
so i just figured now i sthe time to take action.
