Hihi

Postby SamBo » Thu Jul 15, 2010 1:08 pm

Hey,

My name is Sam and I live in Sydney.
I'm way over my ideal weight and have tried numerous times to lose the weight, but haven't ever stuck to anything. I've tried Tony Fergusson shakes, basic dieting as well as exercise without any sort of plan.
I haven't been able to stick to anything in the past. I work a desk job which means i'm not very active during the day.

This time I am detirmined to stick to my plan. I've just started the C25K program (2 days down so far) and I'm enjoying it and plan to see it through to the end. I have also cut out most of my problem foods (I'm a sucker for hot chips :( ).
I get puffed out trying to keep up with my 22month old son, so yeah I really need to get into shape.
Starting weight a few days ago was 100.1kg.
Mini goal is to get to 90kg.
Main goal is to get to 80kg

I will keep track of my progress and post here.

Thanks

Hi Sam,

Good luck with your weight loss journey. I have heard great things about the C25K program. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so far! I look forward to reading about your weight loss here.

(Oh, and I'm afraid you can't edit your own posts. Only moderators have editing powers. If there's ever anything you need to change desperately feel free to message me or one of the other moderators to make the required changes.)

cheers,
Ali

Oh, another thing. You might find it easier to keep track of your progress by starting a thread in the Personal Progress section of the forum. That's where most people chart their weight loss. Some people prefer to record their journey in other areas such as Curvaceous and Courageous (for those with over 10kg to lose), Almost There(for those close to goal) or The Maintenance Crew (for people at goal who want to stay there). I couldn't provide links to them here because there's a limit to the number of links allowed in a post. You can easily find them on the main forum page.

There's also specific areas for keeping a food diary or recording your daily exercise.

It's up to you where you prefer to keep track of your weight loss journey, but there are a lot of posts going up in the Introductions section so your thread may get lost after a week or so if you keep your progress records here!

cheers,
Ali

cheers for that.

I'll start a thread in one of those forums to keep track of my progress.
