Im new to the forum (obviously).
Im desperate to lose weight.
I have tried a lot of diets in the past. Currently Im having hypnotherapy to see if it helps and I have started losing with that.
To get to my ideal weight range (54kg-67kg) I would need to lose 58-45kg.
I take after my dad's side of the family and ALL of them (he is the youngest of 7) are very large.
Taking after dad I guess also means Im a good contender for pulmonary oedema, diabetes, pacemaker to regulate heart, gout - all things my dad suffers from. I dont want to do that to my kids and have them worrying about me. Plus I dont want them to think being this big is normal or even ok.
Although Dr says I am the healthiest large person he has seen so I guess it gives me a good starting point but not a place I want to remain.
Well after my essay I guess thats me.
Oh incidentals - Im in Adelaide, work fulltime in a hospital, have 2 boys (3yrs and 7yrs), hubby is an interstate truckie.
