HI all, just saying hello, Its time to cut the fat for me! my name Is Kyle, I've been fat/obese since i was like 2 and now being 23 i want to loose it all.

me specs are:

23 years old
6foot7 (200cm)
170kg (Hope to be within 100- 110kg)

On the 22 of this month i got a gym membership and have gone every night so far including xmass night, i did have to get one at a 24/7 gym as i don't like the idea working out with buff people around..

I wasn't able to get a starting weight as it couldn't find scales that went over 150kg  but got one that goes up to 200kg yesterday and I came in at 170.1

I would like to think i will be were i want to be by next xmass

Hi Kyle

You got a similar weight to lose as me. I peaked at 158 in September, and have nearly lost 25kg in 3 months - another 50 or so kg to go. I expect it will take the best part of 2011 to get there. I suspect when I get to within 20kg of the goal that it will be a bit of a struggle - but I could be wrong. That will be the time for me to hit the gym.

Anyhow, best wishes with your weight loss.

Good onya Kyle! Stick with it and take advantage of the gym whenever you can and you'll be on of those buff people in no time!

Are you following any particular diet plan as well as the gym?

The only plan i have is to keep away from the bad foods, its been a week and one day and haven't eaten any crap so that's good, snack on fruits, do 1 1.5 hours at the gym each night.

have my first weigh-in tomorrow :?

Thanks brendan, I'm eying off your weightloss count

I've been going through a rough patch over the last few days - I never did like the hot weather, my body tends to hang on to the fluids - I've put on 2 kilo in 2 days. Better that than be dehydrated I suppose. At least I know that when the cool change comes through the fluids will end up down the toilet.
