I'm another newbie trying to succeed in my New Years Resolution. I'm from Orange NSW, and currently weigh 110.7, which for my 153cm is massive! So I got started on the 7/1 (took me a week to get motivated lol) and was pretty stoked with my weigh in on Friday, I managed to kick 2.7, with only changing eating habits so far. I'm counting calories at this stage, mainly because everything is so expensive and I just can't afford to join jenny craig or weight watchers, but I'm also INCREDIBLY fussy, and don't eat a lot of the things in their planned menus...it takes me long enough to count cals, let alone changing menus around to suit me!
I've spent many years thinking I could do what I want (also known as nothing) and eat what I want (pretty much everything) after being traumatised by diets that my mother put me on as a teenager. But I finally reached the point where I've realised that I'm never going to be small (given that I'm so short and built) but there is no reason for me to be this damned big! So it's time for this princess to toughen up! And I figured these forums might just be that extra support, and motivation that I need! So Hi Everyone!
