Hi Michelle,

To paraphrase Bobby Kennedy, "Ask not what a diet can do for you, but what YOU can do for yourself!". In other words, it's not unusual for people to be disillusioned with diets. They are often short term, faddish, and set people up to fail.

If what you are after is long-term weight-loss and good health then consider a "lifestyle" change that promotes fitness and good health for life by permanently by learning new habits such as eating less food, a higher proportion of good quality food, plus a little more exercise.

There are plenty of articles in the main website, and lots of interesting discussions both ongoing and archived in this forum. Enjoy!
