I'm another new one!

Postby Dollface » Mon Nov 27, 2006 9:36 pm

Hi everybody! :)

I'm a 19 year old student who has been struggling with my weight practically my entire life. Just thought i would join this group for a little support when all else fails.. as it does.

Unfortunately I weigh in at 89 kilos and have been stuck at this weight the whole year, give or take a couple kilos here and there, but I always go back to this dreaded number. Due to this, I'm more of a homebody and would rather a night in than a fun night out with friends :( A couple years back I got down to 77 kilos & was absolutely ecstatic, but that happiness quickly subsided and on came the kilos once again. I would love to change my life and allow myself to live it to the fullest as I've spent too much of it sitting in the sidelines and watching it go by me.

Can't wait to share my journey with all of yours!

xoxo

Thank you for your kind replies :)

Well like most people on this forum, I've tried many diets & so on, but all have failed. So I read A.J. Rochester's book The Lazy Girl's Guide To Losing Weight & Getting Fit and was trully inspired! It's such a great read and so helpful. So, I'm not really on any plan or diet as such, but im on a healthy eating journey and I take into account how many calories I'm consuming each day.. as well as how much fat, along with a daily walk on the treadmill.

Dolly don't you just hate that number!

Yes Dollface, that number does seem hard to get away from.
I also have the same book (I bought mine secondhand off ebay for $5)
