New and Slowly giving up!

Postby Shayleec » Tue Dec 20, 2011 12:41 am

Hey everyone! I realised that part of the motivation to lose weight is through verbalising your intention to lose weight first! Just a quick intro, I'm 22 a mum of two and studying full time through Open Universities. I have become so frustrated since the birth of my second son that I've gained all the weight I';d lost when I was 18 plus! It is so hard to get motivated again having lost so much weight and been happy and healthy to going to an overweight mum of two, frustrated with everyone and everything because I can't seem to shift this weight. I'm so frustrated to have no one that lives close to me who is supportive of such a change of lifestyle, my only friends who can actually know what I'm going through live 3 hours away. Sorry my first ost is a rant, i am just at a point where I feel like giving up. I have overactive thyroid which makes me lethargic at times. I just want to know if it is possible to shift 40KG in 9-8 months or less? :?:

Hi there, I am 22 also and a mum of 1, You must be very organised to have two littlies and study at the same time!

Where abouts do you live?

You can do, u will definately be able to if you want to!! I used to be a member on this forum years ago under a different name and i lost 20kgs with the help of this board. It does seem a little quiet at the moment, but no doubt that will pick up soon.

Good luck! what things are you trying for the weightloss?

We're both new in this forum. And I believe, we're on the right track. I am still trying to tour around the site and found a lotta tips from the members. They're all supportive of each other, every time one has a question, you'll definitely get an answer in no time. I'm on hundred kg and needs to lose before my wedding next October. I don't know how to do it but might as well give it a try. You just have to have a focus. Set a goal and set a timeline. Create your plans and stick to them. Who knows, it won't take 9 months for you to shed off those excess. Maybe three or four will do for you. :D
