Hi, Newie from Melbourne

Postby Green_Butterfly » Wed Nov 29, 2006 7:11 am

Hey all,
I've never been on forums before, but I have read alot for information etc. But here I am. I am a 20 year old, about to turn 21. I weigh 70 kilos, and have recently quit smoking a pack of cigarettes each day. Now, with my new found lungs, I have started to swim each morning. OK, so I've only been doing it for three days, but so far so good! I need to lose around 15 kilos, but I am really aiming at the first 10. I'm sticking to a 20 grams of fat or less, which is proving to be alot easier than I imagined.
Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Green Butterfly!
I pretty much do the same thing, under 20g of fat a day but also watching my sugar intake and keeping my fibre high. Its funny how easy it is, when you just take some care, isnt it? Good luck and keep up the swimming!!

Hey slimmindown, how many laps do you do per session? The pool I swim in is a 50metre, and I am doing 10 laps per session. And this requires some breaks inbetween! I'm finding breaststroke the easiest. What about you?
