Just started my KM program today after recently being diagnosed with poly cystic ovarian syndrome. I've put on about 15kg in 2 years (since my wedding) which was probably what triggered the PCOS.
For those of you who aren't sure, PCOS can cause you to gain weight and make it very difficult to lose weight, no matter how well you eat or how much you exercise - although I'm not prepared to use it as an excuse.
I also want to start building a family in a couple of years time which can be difficult when you have PCOS (and excess weight).
I have 20kg that I want to lose before I go snowboarding in April. I'm also bridesmaid for a Bali wedding in June which I think will be really good motivation.
I'm currently 87.7kg and 5 ft 7. I was a healthy 72kg when I got married in March 2009. My goal is the 60s baby! 65kg would be ideal.
I've read some of the other posts and so many of you are very inspirational!
I'll touch base next week when I weigh in! Praying for a good number!
