Hey all, I'm new and you would all know why I'm here. I'm about to start to loose some weight that I have put on due to lifestyle and when I quit smoking years ago. I kinda accepted that I had put on weight but now it is time to do something about it as I want to be healthier again. Look forward to tips to help me acheive my goals.

Congratulations on taking action! The simple practices of good nutrition and maintaining normal body weight are two keys to our health over which we have 100% control. And, as a bonus, these two things play a big role in extending the length and quality of our lives.

There are a lot of resources both here in the forum (many discussions on weight-loss and health-related topics)and in the website attached to it (articles, calculators, resource links). Use whatever you need to achieve your goals.
