Depression is, unfortunately, all too common and the symptoms can be very counterproductiuve for trying to lose weight. By the sounds of it, you are working on the depression though and I have no doubt that the happier you feel the more you will get out and live life which helps lose weight and the more you succeed the better you feel, and so on and so forth.
The support and motivation on this forum should also help and there is always someone here to listen/read.
