I been ordered by my pain management doctor to lose weight.It is easier said then done.I was injured at work and have had to have surgery on my back.since injury i have gained 40 pounds . I have lost some weight but have hit a wall. I and a few other patients of his think starving are self for a couple day before appt helps.keeps us around the same weight but no loss.I know I need to lose weight but the magnets on the keep pulling all the metal in my back to the fridge HELP

hi db81000. yes it's easier said than done that but if you have patience and determination, you will be able do it. never never starve yourself because in the end, you'll just end up pigging out. i eat 6 small meals a day. you can do that as a start. basically you can eat anything as long as it's in moderation.

Yes starving yourself can often do more harm than good.
Keep at it and persevering and things will change.
If you are unable to exercise the best thing to focus on is getting your food under control.
Best of starting off by setting some small goals and what you want to achieve so you know what and why you are working towards.
Is there something specific you are wanting help with??
I lost 25 kilos when I was 19 and have kept it off ever since.
At 22 I was diagnosed with cancer - Burkitts Leukaemia, had 8 rounds of intense chemotherapy and battled with my weight again right throughout this journey.
I am now Fitter Healthier and Stronger than I ever have been and i am now in the health and fitness profession helping others become Fitter Healthier and Stronger.
