Hi All...my name is Simon (obviously) I have been here a couple of times before over the last 4 or so years and have lost weight to varying degrees...only to slacken off when I reach the "goal" and then put it back on, this time it is serious...I am not getting any younger and I don't want to encounter serious health problems as I get older. I was put on to blood pressure medication earlier this year, it runs in the family but I am sure that my life style wasn't helping. I am 6' or 183 cm tall and as at the 15th of October I weighed in at 107.1kg's. Fast forward to yesterday (I weigh in on Mondays as it helps me stay on track over the weekends) I weighed in at 101.7 kg's...a pretty decent loss of 5.5kgs. I am just watching what I eat / drink and exercising every day (I have a very sedentary job). I want to get down to around 90kgs as I feel that it is about the right weight for my solid frame.
Anyhow, nice to meet you all...I am off to start (another) weekly weigh in thread!
