The reason I ask this question is because I'm looking not only for people in Australia but also to maybe help someone who may have been like me.
Back in Nov 1999 on the 12th I had a tubal ligation (TL) then on the 13th I gave birth to my 5th child & boy number 5. I had been doing karate for a couple of years & I believe I was super fit, for me anyway & so continued after the birth. But noticed after the birth my life & body started to change it ended up becoming rapid, I started having heart palpitations, anxiety attacks, pins & needles to my extremities, shortness of breath, fatigue over time the amount of changes grew & grew & the weight was creeping on anyway to cut a long story short last year I found out about something called PTLS post tubal ligation syndrome, & I was relieved but also angry because the years I spent suffering going through all this stuff, plus the tests with no answers the changing & adding symptoms & the whole time the doctors know they just don't believe. Never once in this whole time was I offered a real answer. About the weight gain I continue to gain weight even eating right, to lose anything I have to work my ass off & watch every little thing that touches my lips, once I start I can sort of lose it pretty easy but the problem is I become very fatigued like I hit a wall & I have to stop as soon as I do it all piles back on. Anyway I'm looking to maybe help someone out there who is also going through this but may not know either but also to get in touch with other women to see if we can make a change with this type of surgery. I will try to attach a link for you to read & see if this is you, it will help understand why you may be losing but why it doesn't stay off. Some women have no effects at all but ones who do like me it is devastating to your life & family.http://www.myptls.blogspot.com.au/http://ptlsisreal.blogspot.com.au/2011/ ... ersal.htmlhttp://posttuballigationsyndrome.blogspot.com.au/
