Hello Simmy and welcome to the forum.
Eat well and exercise are what will get you to your goal and help you to maintain the weight once lost. Something that helps to keep me motivated with the exercise is how good I feel from it and the benefits I see eg. fitter, stronger body. The other thing is to find something you enjoy doing and it won't feel like such a chore.
There is plenty of info on the site and support here on the forum. Join in wherever you are comfortable.
