Hi everyone!

I'm Kat, brand-spankin-new here. I'm so excited to find such a supportive place.. I tell you, I need it!

I'm currently 127.5kg, and my goal weight is 80kg (despite everyone telling me I should be aiming for 60kg for my height.. I personally think I would look skeletal, and.. I like curves!).

I look forward to offering my support to everyone, as well as leeching it from all of you! hehe.

Nice to meet you :)

Hey Kat and welcome to the forum!!! Lovely to have you onboard...there is plenty of support and motivation here. Don't listen to what others are telling, you get down to what you feel comfy at and assess your situation from there. You may get to 80 and decide you are happy there, you may decide to lose more, however this is YOUR decision and no one else's..When you get down to 80 darl you will have lost a massive 42% of your original body weight and that is a fantastic achievement!!!

By the 11 yr old daughter commented on how pretty your ticker is...I agree!!! Best wishes on your journey mate and don't forget we are here to see you through!!

New here too Kat, Welcome to the team!

You are right, I find it impossible to reach the recommended weight for my height.
I must have 'heavy bones' as my mother used to tell me!

Good luck with your goal.

I thought I was only 78 kilo, and actually I am 80 kilo! I nearly dropped on the floor in the bathroom this morning!

My goal is to get as close to 65 kilo as I can. If I could get to 61 kilo I would love it :D but I dont like my chances and I am not into setting unrealistic goals.

I want to put a ticker on my posts so i can promote my weight loss....gotta go and check out how to do it!

Welcome again Kat & Good luck!

Hiya Kat!

Welcome to the forums :) Good on you for wanting to keep your curves :) You may get to 80kg and find that you love your new body and want to maintain the weight, or you may want to keep going and lose more! Once you get into it, it just becomes a way of life.

Hope you enjoy your stay, good luck!
