I'm new here too. I'm sure you get an influx of newbies here this time of year. I'm Marnie, I'm a married SAHM of 2 boys and making this my year to lose weight and keep it off!!
About 3 years ago I made a pledge to myself that I'm going to lose weight. I did over the course of a year I lost 15 kilos and got within 6 kilos of my goal weight. I maintained it for 2 years, then got slack and suddenly the weight crept back on (thank goodness only 5 kilos of it!). How disappointing! But that's happened and now I'm back to the grind. I'm 35 years old, weight 78 kilos currently and I'm just over 5'5" so my goal weight is 64-65 kilos (which I think is realistic).
I love this site. I love the challenges here as I work well with challenges. I love all the tips as well. I do my best if I can exercise at home (no matter what it is) and with everyone's support and encouragement here I'm sure I'll get to my goal weight in no time!! I'm here for you guys too - I love forums
