Broken Scales

Postby Dee » Sun Jan 07, 2007 10:27 am

Hi Chinta!

Like you I'm working with busted scales at the moment, and can't get new ones until the 15th of the month. I took my daughter to the doctors last wek, and when the doc left the room I quickly jumped on the scales to have a quick check before she came back in.

So I can't wait to get those new scales and start to keep track of my success. Here's to hoping that when I get them they become my new best friend! :)

I have found a place called "Battery World", so hopefully they will stock the batteries I need for my scales......... will check on Tuesday. I`m a bit frightened to SEE exactly how much weight I have put on since last year, but i have to face reality and work on it from there.

I will put one of those tracker thingies in my profile as soon as I have a starting point

I`m on day 7 of my diet and going well so far , so i`m a happy little camper :D

Welcome. I just joined and wanted to be part of the welcome wagon too, so CHEERS TO YA CHINTA! I too will be approaching the big 40 this year aswell, and I also have yo-yoed all my life too, so we both have that in common, so know you are not alone, I hear you loud and clear!!!!!...... Well. Here's to us approaching 40 & looking FABULOUS! I certainly don't want to deal with my weight and wrinkles too. Eh gawds, one thing to worry about is enough for me! Giggle giggle. I too am hoping this is the year that I figure out the weightloss thing once and for all. Happy weightloss journey ahead to us. I lost 4.5 pounds in 2 weeks time, so that is a start.

Welcome Chinta and evil woman!!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
