Hopeful that i can do it this year

Postby Nikki_1983 » Sun Jan 07, 2007 4:18 pm

Hi everyone, i just thought i'd write a quick hello. I have never joined a support forum before but as i was reading through some of the posts i thought it was a great idea to join.

My new year plan started off great. i set my alarm on the 1st of jan at 7am and went to the beach for a half an hour walk. i felt great
afterwards and was planning on doing it every second morning. Then i came down with a cold that i've just gotten over so nows the time i'm really getting into it *fingers crossed* :?

Anyway good luck to everyone.

Welcome Nikki.

Living near the beach gives a great incentive to go walking....especially during daylight saving.

All the best with your weightloss journey.

Hey nikki, well done for starting the weight loss joining, getting into it can be the hardest part!
The most important thing is to jump straight back on the wagon after youve recovered from your cold. In the past 2 months ive had tonsilitis twice and been badly sunburnt too and when u have a few days off going to the gym and eating well it can be so easy to get back to lazy habbits so as soon as your up to it start walking again :) Were all here and full of random info and support whenever you need us

Hello Nikki and welcome to the forum.

Set your goals, make your plans, focus and stick with it and you will find this makes a difference. Hope you are feeling better now and ready to get into it. There are plenty of challenges and diaries if you find these helpful so jump in where you are comfortable.

All the best on your weightloss journey.
