A Quick Hello

Postby Lols » Tue Jan 09, 2007 10:25 am

Hi to all the others on this journey.

Im Lauren Im 23 and im 6"2 and 90kgs. I was one of those lucky teenagers who could eat what she liked and still be stick thin (although i was pretty active at the time). Unfortunately when i got to my 20's I still lived by this principal of eating what i liked became less active and its just piled on ..... so i have a lifetime of bad habits to now break before i get any heavier.

My work encourages a particularly bad lifestyle - a lot of sitting around, boredom and long hours just havent helped one little bit. So will be doing the TF program when my shakes get here - mainly because a shake is a perfect way for me to behave as i dont have time to think much ahead in the way of prepartion of food. I need a bit of a no brainer diet.

My weakness are: Cheese, Chocolate and Alcohol - I'll miss them terribley but as they say no food tastes as good as being thin feels.

Wishing everyone best of luck and looking forward to sharing this with you :)

Welcom Lol,
I too have a weakness for cheese and alcohol! One week in to my change of lifestyle and I dont miss them much at all.
Just remember, everything in moderation.

Good luck on your journey.

Thank you for all being so welcoming!

I just opened the door to go check the letterbox and i got such a start as the aust post man was standing there with my TF package! He was well amused at the jolt he gave me  But how exciting its here! I can start tomorrow.

Yeah i have checked out the TF Forums and a wealth of info they are ...... until that is work banned the website - and only a matter of time they probably block this one too. I do have a computer at home so will have to log onto that when i need inspiration.

hehe yeah im a tall chicky which means im never going to be little miss 60kgs but thats ok too.

Oh yeah ive checked out the challenges too - how awesome are they?! What a great motivator. Im getting on the X-trainer tonight to do my bit for the adelaide to darwin (or is it perth to darwin?) challenge!

Hugs to all.

hi lauren

you dont need to add the fibre if you dont want to. the benefits are that it bulks up the shakes to make you fuller for longer. also you have the tendency to get constipated on the programme so the fibre helps. but i know a lot of people dont use it.

and try not to weigh yourself everyday!!!
