Hi All

Thanks for your warmth and advice. Feeling great today and wonder of wonders my bra didnt feel like a boa constrictor today!! Woohoo!!

Been trying to fit in working out around a four year old who belives he is the centre of the universe. Found the best way to do it is exercise straight after he crashes and then during my tv viewing I have been doing sit ups, thigh master and weights.

Going to enlist the grandparents now to go for a walk each day for 20 minutes and will try to wake earlier to do a video workout. Being single mum makes time a little more difficult to come by but I am determined. And the more weight i lose the more energy i will have.

Workouts this week

:) :) :) :) plus running after my little treasure!

Have a great week everyone.

Hiya

Nice to see you have joined up Sis! Looking forward to travelling on the same journey with you. Even tho we live apart the support we can give each other will be excellent.

We've struggled with our weight all our lives and we both have gone up and down but I know this time around it will be different.

Call me or email me whenever you need to ... and together we can become even more fabulous than we already are!

Love you heaps

Well done little mumma, that's great! Top effort fitting in your excercise around your son, that must be very difficult. Sounds like you are really determined, so you are sure to succeed :D Keep up the good work!

Another week or so and more weight lost. I have now lost 4.8 kilos. Found I have more energy already and have been eating healthily with my whole family. We are on a cardiac diet for my dad's health and have found quite my chance that it is low gi and we only have carbs at lunchtime and nothing too card drenched after that time.

I have found the night time need to snack difficult to ignore but have been proud of myself for not munching down on chippies at tv time. Havent been able to forgoe chocolate but have minimised that well.

Exercise has been working really well. Now going for a 30 minute walk daily, up a great bloody hill!! My bottom is thanking me though!! And also doing simple basic tummy, hips, bum and leg workout with some weights thrown in. Not sure how much and for how long to get quicker results but little man eats up a lot of my time. Have to wait til he's snoozing at night to get active.

Also I have felt much happier and calmer, easier to deal with the curve balls that come my way.

Exercise for Week 3

thanks so much, yep it's working for me and the funny thing is my mindset has changed too. before if i started a "campaign" it felt like a chore but this time it's as natural as breathing. feel great and it's just a new lifestyle not a "diet". the support is making all the difference.
