Hello there!!!

Postby I Can Do It » Sun Feb 18, 2007 3:12 pm

Hi everyone!

I'm Christine and I am currently on a Weight Loss Program (Weight Watchers). I'm from Penrith, and a married mum of two little girls, aged nearly 5 and nearly 2.

Aside from my pregnancies, I am now at my very heaviest. I was 86.9kg and am now 83.5kg. My goal is 65kg, and I intend to get there anywhere between now and the rest of 2007. I am 164cm tall and about a size 18. I feel extremely overweight, unhealthy and unable to keep up with the kids.

I also work (part time) in a very mundane and boring job, and this has contributed largely to the weight gain (around 16-20kg over 8 years).

Aside from meeting you all and sharing stories, I'd love to find different, exciting and interesting ways to continue losing weight, as I get bored easily.

Thanks for reading....... :D
I will get there by the last day of 2007!!!

Welcome Christine. I too have been down the weight watchers road, and at the time found it extremely effective and informative. I am doing the hard yards on my own now, and the support that I receive here is wonderful. Looking forward to sharing your Journey.

Hi Christine,

Welcome and good luck! I'm new here too and have already found some interesting and informative topics and have even realised that I CAN make my own healthy pizza!

(And that sitting here typing long messages leaves me no time to snack!)

It's all good!

All the best!

Hi Christine,
Welcome aboard.
Sometimes my progress is so slow that I feel like giving up. Also with a lot of distractions in life, I feel that there are good reasons to just stuff it and dont care about the weight. However, guess everybody has distractions and a lot of people in this website have been thru a lot and they achieve great goals and progress. So that motivates me.

Good luck with your weightloss/fitness journey.

Cheers... FatGarfield

Hi Christine and welcome aboard! There are plenty of exciting ways to lose weight, but just be sure you find one you you'll stick with it for the long run!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
