Hi!

Postby Mandie » Fri Mar 02, 2007 11:54 pm

Hi to all the people who signed up since I left in December 2006 - I was travelling in Thailand and Vietnam, having a great time but unfortunately not losing any weight!

I'm fresh off the plane (as in, yesterday) and ready to jump back in. I'd love to say hi personally to everyone who joined while I was gone, but that's a lot of people! I will try to catch up on you all, and feel free to drop me a pm and I can talk to you properly!

Good luck everyone!

Hi Mandie,

Welcome back. It must have been such an amazing "cultural" experience travelling through Thailand & Vietnam. Well done on maintaining your weight. My overseas experience was not so kind on my weight...I was influenced by my dutch partner who introduced me to chocolate on toast (amongst many other fattening things) & that was the start of my demise.

Luckily in January I had a "light bulb" moment (two years in the making) and that's what brought me here. I have never looked back and I love the emerging newer, healthier and slimmer me.

Good luck with your weightloss journey.

Hi Mandie,

Wewlcome back to Oz!!! Great news that you didn't put on any weight while you were travelling. I lost about 13kgs on a 6 week trip over to Europe once...I was eating a huge amount of food...and champes...but I think the 6 hours walking I did everyday helped!!!

Unfortunately though as soon as I got back to Oz...I put it all back on very rapidly and more!!!

Hi Mandie, welcome back! can't wait to read about your trip!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
