Another newbie!

Hey Guys, so I am a 17 year old girl, and Ive had wight problems since my parents divorce 9 years ago. I am currently at my heaviest and desperately seeking some support with my weight loss. I have tried numerous diets and I love excercise but nothing is working for me.

I live in Western Australia, and love my pets, I have a puppy (well she turned one a few weeks ago) and a horse. I work two casual jobs, sometimes working 12 hours a day 7 days a week.

My health is really importnat to me, as I feel I do not get to enjoy life as completely as I should. I am looking forward to support and suggestions on this forum.

Hello Jest and welcome aboard.

If exercise isn't helping with the weight loss you may need to look carefully at what you are eating and how much. Exercise will only go so far if you're nutrition is bad. Maybe keeping food and exercise diaries will help if you aren't already doing so. There are some examples of these diaries on the home page or we have diaries here in the forum.

Hi Jest and welcome! A food and exercise diary is a fantastic idea so you know exactly where you are starting from. Take it slowly and just make positive changes here and there and you will be on your way!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
