I need motivation and encouragement pleeeese!!!!

Postby sosiwos » Wed Mar 07, 2007 1:03 am

Hi Everyone!,
This is my first time to ever write in a forum but I have decided that enough is enough!
If joining a supportive community like this dosen't motivate me to lose the weight ...... nothing will!!!
My name is Kerry and I am 28 years old although at times with this weight I feel 60! :)
I'm 173cms tall and weigh 95.2 kgs.
This is the heaviest weight I have ever been...except when I was pregnant.
At the start of last year I went on the Cohens lifestyle program and got down to 84kgs, but somehow I went off track and the weight crept back on. Has anyone else been on Cohens?
Any way, drop me a line to give any advice or just to say Hi! :D

Hi All,
Well just here to tell you a bit about myself.
I have 4 children. My oldest son is 6, twin boys that are 5, and my daughter who is 2.
I have pretty much been around the 93 kg mark since having my first child. But after having my daughter my weight went up to 96kgs. Then last year I joined Cohens. I was really good on this and my weight went down to 84kgs.
Some how I think I got a bit cocky enjoying my weightloss a bit too much and started picking the wrong foods again thinking I wouldn't put the weight back on  Big Mistake!
So now I'm in a hurry to get my weight back down or I'll have no hope of getting back into the size 14 jeans I was wearing last year!
My main reason for wanting to lose weight is because I'm going to be a bridesmaid in my sister in laws wedding! The wedding is at the end of October so it should be enough time to lose at least 20kgs.There are 20 bridesmaids.... yes 20.... and I really don't want to stand out as the "big girl" of the group. I just want people to notice me because of how much weight I've lost and how nice I may look. I'm sure everyone can relate to this feeling!

However, I am really excited that I have found this forum and joined the 12 week challenge! :D
By finally setting myself a goal weight to aim for in the 12 week challenge its enough to keep me motivated.
I haven't eaten anything bad at all today!!! :D
More importantly............I don't want to!! Its a miracle!
Thankyou to everyone for your words of encouragement. Its amazing to see so much support and friendship in such a short time. I only joined up last night! :)
bye thanks again!
