How wonderful to find an aussie weight loss forum

Postby schnuckess » Mon Mar 19, 2007 3:50 am

Hi, I found this forum and am excited to be able to support and be supported by fellow 'heavy weights'.

My weight loss story is short. I have stopped exercising (partly because of rheumatoid arthritis in my joints) and didn't change my eating habits. I generally eat healthfully, but with a healthy appetite and without exercise and a very sedentary lifestyle the weight just crept on, and now I am 8 kilos heavier than normal.

Bliss is ignorance and denial is wonderful - until none of my clothes fit me anymore! So now I am to chose between buying a new wardrobe or just losing the fat!! I am looking forward to your support and listening ear. And I hope to be there for you guys, too.

Love, Schnuckess

how do I move my ticker

Postby schnuckess » Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:01 am

Here we go, I already have a silly question. I got so excited about signing up, and got myself a ticker. Now, I have lost my first kilo (yay, small beginnings) and don't know how to move the ticker. Help anyone...please?

Cheers, Schnuckess

hey schnuckness you go to your profile page and change it that way :) i dont have a ticker anymore to demonstrate but in the ticker code in your signature section there should be a number in it that represents your starting weight. remove that number and put your new number in.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Another way to change the ticker is to go back to the original site you made it and change it, then re-post the bb code into your profile. I had never thought of changing the code number before - good tip!!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"

Thank you Kate & Butterfly. I moved it, and it felt really good.

Have a great day,
