Newbiew - Just married

Postby mrs c » Thu Mar 22, 2007 10:38 am

Hi everyone! My story is that I lost about 20 kgs for my wedding in November last year (got to a size 14). Then after the wedding it was like woo hoo time to go nuts and eat what I like because it didnt matter anymore - i didnt need to worry about fitting into my dress.

Now its four months later and I've put most of it back on (in half the time it took to get it off) :(

So anyway hoping to lose it again and a bit more on top! Looking forward to using this site and getting/giving encouragemant to others :D

Welcome - and congrats on losing that weight before your wedding. That just proves you can do it again. I've heard it said that maintaining a low weight is as hard as losing it in the first place, but there are plenty here who are doing that right now, so once you get back down to your goal they'll certainly be able to help you out.

Good luck, hope to see you around a bit.

Welcome to the forum! The good thing is that when you do it this time it will be for the long term, not a finite date which you can then forget about - hopefully then you will be able to stay slim and healthy indefinitely!!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Thanks guys

That was exactly the problem - it was for a specific reason, not to improve my health and lifestyle in general. Thats why when that reason was gone i put it on so fast.
