Hi there

My name's kaeri.... I've always had a battle with weight... it's partly genetic, partly lifestyle. I'm now on an 8 week Biggest Loser programme through my training group. My boyfriend's being supportive but I think I just need more support and figured that this may help.... Does anybody have any tips ?
Cheers

Hi Kaeri and welcome to the gang. The whole board is full of tips! How about setting up a progress page in the Personal Progress section, or jumping in late into our 12 week challenge - post your goals for the next 9 or so weeks (until the end of May). If you've got any questions, feel free to ask. no one seems to care if it's been asked before :)

All the best for your journey.

Sandra

Hello Kaeri and welcome to the forum! You will definitely find support here and lots of great motivation and tips. My tip would be to start of slowly and focus on making healthy changes that you can maintain for life like regular exercise you enjoy and healthy food choices! Good luck with it!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"You can't change the winds, but you can change the sails"

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"

Welcome Kaeri from all of us. There is so much information here and if you have a question just post it. I've been using this site for about two weeks now and it's great the information that everyone has, and most of it is something they've all been through themselves.
So good luck!!!

Hi everyone

Thanks for all of the lovely messages ! Week 1 is down and I have done pretty well manouvering my way through office birthday parties and a farewell dinner for a friend moving OS. That I guess will always be a challenge balancing weightloss and my social life !

I haven't weighed myself yet as I have a weigh-in next week at the fitness group I go to ( we are doing the Biggest Loser amongst ourselves- $300 for the greatest % of fat loss over 8 weeks) but I do know it's shifting - a pair of pants that have never fitted me, fitted me this morning!

Well that's all my news!
Have a great weekend !

Kaeri
Cheers
