Hi there

Postby funkyleo » Thu Apr 26, 2007 1:00 am

Hello everyone :) , I stumbled upon this site through another site and from what I can see so far it looks really cool :) .
A bit about me..female..48 years old..been overweight all my life :( . I did manage to lose 40kgs about 4 years ago but since then it has crept back on and I am now back up around the 110kg mark  I know its time to do something about it and I have been trying. I think i've lost a few kgs in the last couple of weeks but i find it so hard to keep motivated. Anyway, I'm gonna have a look around and read some stories. Hopefully that will help me :)

Welcome funkyleo! I'm 5'3 also and feel very short sometimes, especially when up against the younger people these days!

Best wishes for your weight loss :D

hello funkyleo
good on you for the effort. remember the road ahead is for successes and set backs so don't get discouraged when things don't go as planned, the important thing is to keep going with it.

Hi Funkyleo,
I am new too and starting on yet another try to be "normal" (whatever that is these days). I'm tired of being overweight and I want my life back. We are all here to support you, so please hang around.
