I've been saying to myself for a while now that I have to loose weight and I get started but a few days down the track I just give up but after looking at some recent photos of myself I have decided enough is enough Im going to do it I do need a little more motivation and support to help me thru this which my family just doesnt understand excercise I can do and deal with fine but its my eating habits that suck at changing Ill stick with eating right for a few days and then break down and go back to the bad habits

welcome along :)
i think the trick with my eating was asking myself if ide rather be thin or eat the big mac.. a few minutes pleasure or a life time or looking smoking :P it takes a while to change your eating habits, but it does get so much easier and after a while u dont even have to think about it anymore
were a great bunch of supporters in here, and its a great place to come if u ever feel like eating something bad!

Hello and welcome aboard. It can be really tough when you live in a house full of junk food! I hope you can introduce some good eating habits to the rest of your family. All the best for your weightloss journey.

Hi QldChick and welcome! Is it possible in your previous attempts you may have tried to change too much too soon?? If you try and change absolutely everything it is very hard to maintain. Perhaps try to slowly change just one or two things at a time in your diet and substitute regular meals with similar but healthier alternatives?
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
