A fresh new start

Postby Butterfly_Dawn » Wed May 23, 2007 9:34 am

Yes, Ok I know, I am a current member.

I've been struggling to get rid of the last 5 kg and thought I would start again fresh with 5kg to lose being my grand goal. Therefore I thought I would start all the way back at square 1 and introduce myself again. So here we go!

Last year I lost 35kg mostly by better eating and exercising more. I have hit a wall and now want to get back into gear to shift the last 5kg. I am finding this difficult, mostly I think because some bad habits have started to slip back in. So I am gong to start my food diary again (I will keep my exercise diary in with that so i can directly compare expenditure with intake).

I hope I can get back on track and reach my goal!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

You have lost 35kg and that is fantastic Butterfly Dawn 8)

I understand the wall though I lost 22kg hit that damn wall, put some back on and it has taken me almost 12 months to get back on track again. I am very happy to say I have finally got it together now and have lost 1.5kg in 3 weeks. :D

Sorry for hijacking your post but I do understand and you are an inspiration to us. When I see your 35kg lost on your Ticker I think I want that on mine and it makes me so determined.

So thank you Butterfly Dawn and we will help you loose those last 5kg's :D

Hi Tegan and welcome to the home straight! :P

I think it's amazing that a) you lost all that weight to start with and b) you haven't put any back on. So that should prove to you that you won't have any trouble with maintenance once you hit your goal weight.

Good luck!

Even though my ticker says I have about 7kg to go, I will be happy with 5kg - so you and I can do this together :D
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Hey Tegan that is a great idea and should help to keep you focused and knock back any habits that are holding you back from getting to your goal. You look fab by the way from the photos I have seen and losing 35 kgs in the first place is an awesome achievement. :D

I am very proud of my achievement but just feel I need to re-focus on the last little bit since ATM it's like "well I've lost 35kg, what's another 5?"
