thanks guys, i have been a member of weight watcher for nearly 1 1/2 years and just am really lacking the motivation to lose the last 10 or so kgs. My whole family struggle with there weight and i've seen my dad do every diet under the sun, when i stopped weighing myself at 90kgs and was horrified with photos i saw of me, i thought i had to do something. So i gave up smoking and determined not to add kgs i joined weight watchers, (i did lose the first 7kg by myself) so far i have lost 14kg in total.

Rae

well done rae on losing the first few kilos yourself. you have a lot of willpower and dedication :) i can understand about looking at family members and seeing what approaches they have done to their weight. my sister turned builemic (sp?) and so did my brother. its not the way i wanted to go about losing weight and was lucky i suppose in that i had lots of support around me to help me lose weight in a safe manner.

Wow Rae. 14 kg already! Good thinking to seek out some more support, you don't want to waste your great start. A lot of what you say about your family sounds familiar to me. Most of the time I imagine I am thinner than I am. Who was it that invented photography, they have a lot to answer for?
