Hello Everyone,

I am a 23 year old female Uni student hoping to finally gain control, at the moment I weigh 115kg and hope to make 80kg by christmas...ish.

I have just joined a gym The BeachHouse and think I have a pretty good dieting plan. It has taken me nearly 2 months just to take full control of what I eat and how much, even though I still have my days where anything goes I just tell myself to start again the next day.

I have a friend who has lost 35kg and looks fantastic and she has become my motivation to do something for myself. However that friend has moved and so I am joining this forum. I have already found much of the information so very helpful. There are so many of you doing really great and its become my new inspiration.

Hello,

Thanks for the welcomes, I look forward to logging my progress. I study language at the moment but I just comepleted a Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, which is nothing what it sounds like.

Soon I will be completely finished, (hopefully)

Sounds interesting, Nikki - is it like linguistics? Or you studying particular languages? Congrats on finishing your Bachelor's degree.

Hello,

Its just Mandarin or Chinese, I started it in my Bachelor Degree and have just kept it up.

Thanks for the congradulations, its such a relief to be finished it. The bachelor degree is for multimedia and editing things like that, I have my own web site and everything, Im not sure if I can put it here because it has nothing to with weight loss, but Im really proud of it because it has my brothers on it.

You can have a look http://www.twinstarstunts.com

Sorry it this isnt allowed....

But the website

Postby The Scales Tell Me So » Sun Jun 24, 2007 8:31 pm

LOL, I will pass that on to them. But its the web site thats really impressive... hahaha.

Those are my two older twin brothers, they are stuntmen in Sydney. They are another reason for my motivation, they have offered to allow me to role a car (safely) if I can be a little more fit.

In my current state its just a little to dangerous. So heres hoping,

Nikki

Hello Nikki and welcome to the group.

It can be such an inspiration to have someone close to you or someone you see regularly that loses weight. Just think when you get to your goal you may well be the inspiration for others too.

All the best on your weightloss journey. :D
