new member wanting to lose 10 kgs!!!

Hi, as you may gather I am new to this forum, I want to lose 10 kilos after having my second child who is now seven months old.

I love my food! especially you guessed it... chocolate. :lol: too much of it.

Currently 76kgs and approx 170cm tall would like to get down to 66kgs???

I despise excercise but was hoping there were other girls out there the same as me and have conquered the impossible (or should I call it possible?)

Hi and welcome to the forum, Congrates on your second child. Good luck on losing 10 kgs. I'm like you hate exercising as well. What diet plan are you going to do?

Well, I am just taking it by day. Lots of fruit, less carbs, plenty of water, and offcourse excercise! although I really dont like excercise dvd's, I find it a little difficult to go for a walk with a 4 year old (her little legs couldn't handle it!) may have to get up much earlier and go for a brisk walk before hubby goes to work. :idea:

I know what u mean about exercise with a 4 year old, I have a 4 year old boy and its really hard to exercise with him, his little legs dont go too fast and get worn out quickly :) So, we still go for walks, but slower ones, they are great for you and the kids, just getting out of the house into the fresh air... Even if u dont like them (and I used to HATE them!) exercise dvds can be fantastic...and Im sure your 4 year old will join in with you (mine does and has a ball! :D) Good luck with the weight loss :) xx

I'm sure there are plenty here who initially hated exercise but grew to love it. I have always enjoyed it. I guess it's a matter of finding something that suits you - whether it's team sports, going to the gym or just running.

hey cass welcome to the group :) hope you werent too badly affected by the recent floods up there in maitland.

its hard to exercise if you dont like what you are doing. so maybe id suggest building up slowly and concentrating more on your food intake first. make that your priority. i started off doing it that way and also going for a walk around the block a couple of times a week and then built it up.

my 19 month old daughter loves music so its easy for my to pop some music on- nutbush is one of her faves! and we dance like mad. maybe your 4 year old will like doing this too.

Finding something you enjoy for exercise is definitely key or else it will feel too much like hard work and easy to find excuses not to do it.

Hey mti1983 welcome to the forum. I live in thornton so I'm not to far away from where you live. I know what's it like I have a just turned 5 year old & a 2 year old, my 5 year old hates walking too, If you want to catch up & go for a walk one day let me know. I go to the gym so they get minded & I have my time & have a workout. 10 Kg is a great goal, try & break it up into mini goals & reward yourself every 4 -5 Kg. Goodluck

I look forward to logging on when I have time, I feel this freindly forum gives me the Incentive and motivation, do to what I gotta do!

I feel really focused and ready and rarin' to go! although, I always feel energised and more positive a few days before I 'get my monthly's' or is this just an excuse??
