You mentioned you get hungry between meals. How far apart are your meals? I am wondering if the hunger is really hunger or a habit. I used to always have something to eat when I sat at my computer once I got home and realised it wasn't because I was hungry but I had gotten into the habit of doing that so when I sat down it triggered me to go and get something to eat. The other thing is are you getting enough water as thirst can mask itself as hunger. Just a thought.
