Hello to you all.
My name is Christina. I live in Texas.
I have recently started a "program" due to health issues that requires me to count every calorie, keep body measurements, etc. in an effort to lose weight (fat), get healthy and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Im finding this very overwhelming! I have an elliptical machine I use for exercise and I have to track calories burned and calories in. So, Im here in search of support and to feel like I am not alone.

Hi Christina and welcome! It can be overwhelming to start with, particularly if you have a lot to lose. Just take it one step at a time. You'll get all the support you need here!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Well a big ole hello from downunder! Welcome to the forum, Christina. We count in kilos :P but other than that, we're all on the same journey together. It's nice to have another nationality on board. I look forward to hearing about your progress :)

Hi Christina and welcome to the forum.

I too did the calorie counting thing for weightloss and still use it to a certain extent now I am on maintenance, more for when I feel that things are getting away from me. Sing out if you have any questions as there are plenty of us here to give help.
