As Kate said, healthy eating and exercise. I dont like to think that im on a diet. I just try and exercise regularly and eat less than 1500 cals a day, but everyone is different, whatever works best for you.

Ive only really just started. This is my second official week of my weight loss journey, although I have been thinking about it for a while, lol.

Good luck!

I'm about half way there - I've been calorie counting and stepping up the exercise (except for the past week cos I've had an injury, grrr)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

lost 35kg, currrently slipped back 3, now have 8kg to go to goal.

Have been eating healthy and exercsing more - not so much a diet as a change to a healthier lifestyle.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

Hi Guys!

Nice to hear from you all, I'm doing TF (6th week in) , and have lost 6.2kg - about 15-20 to go.

Their Forum is great for support, but I'm craving more general diet conversation as the TFers can be a bit fanatical! lol

Hi!

Im basically eating healthier and exercising to get fit and healthy!
Im lowering my calorie intake by 500 calories a day, and trying to burn 500 calories a day, but mixing it up a bit so my body doesnt get used to it!

This site is awesome! :) Gives me heaps of motivation.

Im from Hobart by the way.
Starting Weight: 62kg Current Weight: 55.0kg Goal Weight: 54kg

Goal Reached 22 February 2008, Must get down to 54kg again!

I've tried it all ito go it alone in the past - counting cals, counting fat, numerous gym memberships and programmes.

I've never actually tried anything like JC, TF or WW. But this is my 6th week into TF and I'm seeing results, so am going to stick at it for as long as it takes.

Although I must admit - I am completely over it today - really "woe is me! I guess I just have to keep my chin up.

Also, maintenance is a really scary thought for me - I used to maintain with strict gym / diet, and am so scared that as I've let my weight climb this much I won't have the discipline to maintain.

I'm considering WW points for maintenance but don't know anything about it - anyone out there doing that?

I'm 5foot too so every kilo SHOWS!!! lol
