Hi there,
Jodi from melb here thought this looked like a great start to my weight loss journey as might need some support and help along my way. Just cant seem to drop the kilo's as im a bit of an emotional eater!!! But am here to give it my best shot and will not give up!!!!
P.S Might need some exercise tips as i work alot and dont have a lot of time

Have moved from echuca where I had a great job and lots of friends and now living in Hawthorn but moving over to Bundoora tomorrow as my friends have turned on me so going to live with a real supportive friend and take on a new job so things are looking up but still hard to drop the kilo's as I have been a bit down about it all but not willing to give up just yet :) :) :)

Don't you give up mate you have a friend in me already even though I am miles away
my kids all live in Melbourne St Kilda and Richmond area
Hope your new job works well
I bought a treadmill and that is the secret I think to my 6 kilo weight loss

Funny that i live right next to richmond (that's right now but leave there tomorrow) i wont give up all will work out ill make sure of it!!! Yeah might go get myself a tredmill too was thinking about it guess i should just go do it and stop thinking about it. Thanks for your support chat soon.... :D :D :D :D

Hello Jodi and welcome aboard.

Some of the members here are also emotional eaters so they may have some advice for you. I am not an emotional eater (I clean...yes you heard right) so not much help there but perhaps a emotion/food diary.

With exercise, you need to make it a priority to really be able to get serious about it. How about short sessions of around 10 mins a few times a day so you can fit it in around other things. Kate has a DVD that has a number of 10 mins workouts that she is finding helpful. Personally I do my workouts during the week during my lunch break as I won't get up earlier and never find the time after work.

Thanks everyone how nice to have all these people saying positive things feeling much better about this now and am more motivated because i cant wait to tell everyone how much weight i have lost in the next few weeks
