HEY!!!!

Welcome and a big Congrats about your decision to change :) I too made that decision tonight :)

Good luck with it all.

We can support each other, and from what I have read, everyone here is encouraging and just brilliant to each other, through the good times and the bad.

Buckle up for the ride :)

Mine starts tomorrow.

Hi Kel and welcome aboard.

It’s never too late to get yourself in shape. I am 39 and am probably fitter and healthier now than when I was 19! You can do it.

Best of luck for your weightloss journey. :D

Daily Diary - Monday

Postby kishmutt » Mon Aug 27, 2007 10:57 am

Hi All,

Thanks so much for your replies and encouragement.

I am going to submitt a daily entry, to update on what I have done each day to get closer to my goal.

I hope I don't bore you all senseless with this, however I have noticed a lot of successful people just say " I was 80 kilos, lost 10 kilos in 3 months" but they don't say how? the daily grind, what worked what didn't etc.

I also think this will help me with motivation and committment.

So this morning I started with a 40 minute walk with Charlie the wonderdog, golden retriever and love of my life, he is 8 so by the end was actually pleased to go home, he is getting on a bit.

I am fortunate to live across the road from an offleash dog park that has fantastic walking tracks, I have been here for a year and normally just go and stand there whilst charlies plays with his mates. So this morning I got up an hour earlier which is only 7am - and hit the track, felt fantastic, sun shininig,. I can't believe I have wasted a year of living next to this and not used it effectively. I moved closer into the city so I would not spend as much time commuting and would have more time to excercise, I have done nothing in a year!

I also joined a Gym back in November which I have been to 5 times! It cost me $1000, so before it expires, I plan to go at a minimum twice a week.

My top ten of do's and don'ts - specfic for me

1. Drink water all day
2. No chips, cakes, lollies or chocolate
3. Get out of bed at 7am and walk for 1 hour each morning.
4. Go to the Gym twice a week
5. Join weightloss challenge
6. Reduce portion sizes
7. Walk at lunch time
8. Pre plan meals
9. Create a list of foods ok to eat
10 learn to say no

Breakfast was two organic wheatbix and skim milk, glass of juice.

So pleased you can all join me on this challlenge.

I need to work out how to add photo's ?

Cheers

Kel

Hi there Kel and welcome to the forum. I've lost about 7 kilos over the past 6 or 7 months simply by drinking more water, drinking less wine, eating smaller portions and doing more intentional exercise. Cheers!
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Hi kel, and welcome! many of us post daily food and exercise diaried (when we remember to  ) which is how we track what we are doing.

You plan looks pretty good to me.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

"Reach out and take control of what lands in your lap"
