Welcome fellow melbournian :D ,

You will certainly get fantastic support from everyone at the forum, I've only been a member since start of January and already feel like part of the 'family'.

It's never to late to join in the January Challenge, it can be found under 'Weigh In' in the Weight Loss section. There is also a 12 week challenge to help spur us on.

Good luck on your weightloss journey,
Angel

Good luck Jal!

Like you I need a lot of support so I find myself looking at this site heaps to give me motivation, so far so good.

I've got over 30kg to lose so I'm just trying to concentrate on 3kg at a time so one day (soon) I'll just go OH MY GOD I lost 12 kg without even thinking about it Yay! Well that's the plan anyway.

Hi Jal,
Welcome to the forum! Feel free to join in on any of the threads and the food and exercise diaries as well as the weight loss challenges already mentioned! The support on this board is definitely a positive!

Cheers,

Hi Jal,

Welcome on board. I only joined the site last week and I can't tell you what a difference it's already made. Just knowing that there are others out there going through the same thing. It's really been the turning point for me.

I really recommend reading through the different forums as there are so many experiences that others are having that I'm going through so it's been great to be able to identfy with them and get support.

I've got just over 50kg to lose but am taking it one day at a time. Inch by inch.

Good luck
Cheers
Paula
