Here I go...

Postby invisigirl23 » Mon Oct 01, 2007 6:13 pm

Hi Everyone

I am 31, and had about the same number of KG to lose when I started this journey (which was only a week ago).

Tomorrow morning I have a fitness test booked at the local gym, or maybe I should call that an unfitness test

In the past 10 days I have lost a couple of kg's thanks to everyone in here - I have been making recipes that I found.. and they are all so yummy.. thanks everyone!!

Hi and welcome to the forum! You may be dreading the fitness test tomorrow, but believe me, in a few weeks time you'll be so glad you did it as you'll have something real to measure your fitness against. It's amazing how quickly your fitness will pick up once you start exercising :)

Good luck & be sure to let us know how you go!
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Hello and welcome to the forum!! Well done on your weight loss so far! That's fantastic!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Thanks for the warm welcome and encouragement - all of your journies are so inspiring.

I am dreading the fitness test... but in a good way, I can't wait to "get started"... I think

Fitness test yesterday went (reasonably) well...

My bodyfat % was a whopping 47% (off the assessment chart LOL)

But my cardiovascular fitness was in the fair category (with poor & very poor below fair).

First workout today!!
