Hi, I have been lurking around this site for a while and it looks pretty supportive. I am 45yrs old and I would like to lose 20kg. Presently I'm 87kg and my GP recommended that I get a bit of weight off to better fit my 161cm body height. I have lost weight getting down to about 70kg a few times in the last 15 years but it always comes right back on!

My goal is to lose the first 10kg by my birthday in March and the next 10 by Christmas next year. I know this is SUPER slow but I want to go slow so that it stays off this time and I change my eating and exercise habits creating a healthier lifestyle for myself.

I have started a thread in the Weekly Weighin Forum and my promise to myself is to set my weekly goals and weighin here.

Looking forward to getting to know you.
